Festive Chocolate Gifts for the Holidays

This post is sponsored by Lindt.

In the past 9 months, Daniel and I bought a house, got married, and spent two incredible weeks in Hawaii for our honeymoon. Needless to say, 2017 was one for the books. It was big, bold, and joyful (emphasis on the ‘full’). And of all the things we learned in the last 365 days, maybe the most valuable to us now is how good it feels to finally slow down and enjoy the small, simple things.

With this in mind, we’re keeping our gifts sweet and simple this holiday season. We’ve decided to give each of our friends and family members a gift that’s equal parts sentimental and sweet.

On the sentimental side, we’ve printed and framed pictures from our wedding for our parents and grandmothers. For friends, we’ve picked out a handful of our favorite books and most-loved cookbooks.

And for sweets, we’re giving Lindt Chocolate—a tried and true favorite that everyone loves. A few weeks ago, Daniel and I took a trip to the Lindt Chocolate Shop up in Burlington and picked out a dozen delicious, festive gifts. I don’t always love going to stores to buy holiday gifts, so when I tell you that this shopping experience left me feeling really festive and happy, I’m as shocked as you might be. Maybe Lindt just really knows how to set the mood for Christmas spirit. The shop is decked out for the season, there are Christmas carols softly playing, and best of all, they have a massive station with bins for each of their 20+ truffle flavors.

You can choose from a pretty red felt stocking, a decorative box, or a festive bag and then fill it with 75 truffles of your choice. Daniel and I are obsessed with just about every flavor (umm, we’ve been known to do blind taste tests with friends :), so we filled 4 stockings and 1 bag.

We also picked out chocolate Santas and snowmen, chocolate-filled ornaments, a giant milk chocolate truffle, and a handful of other goodies for stocking stuffers. And one major perk is, all of the gifts we got are packaged so beautifully that they don’t require wrapping. They’re ready to gift as is, not to mention, they’d also make for pretty holiday decor around your house!

What are you gifting this holiday season?
